Appalachia Meets World Episode 74 - ”Uneven Ground” in Appalachia with Dr. Ron Eller
In this episode Neil and Will sit down with maybe one of the most prolific Appalachian Historians, Dr. Ron Eller. They discuss the history of policy in Appalachia and how the region has transformed (and failed to) over the last several decades. Take a listen as Dr. Eller also dives into his book "Uneven Ground" and what can be and is being done to forward the region. He might even answer the question of whether the region is anymore "even" in his view. You might even hear Neil break out some science knowledge, as well as how the guys "rank" a few Appalachian musicians. Also, don't forget about the #AppBiz of the week: Appalachian Cabinetry and Woodworking!
